Typical Vegas shenanigans are not to be had when traveling with two young kids. We mainly went to see my sister and brother in law who were in town. We ate...alot! Sushi Mon was our first stop, then Hot N' Juicy Crawfish, Max Brenner, Thelma's, the Wynn buffet and Monta. We did some shopping. Jayden and JJ got new pairs of Jordans. We hung out with Jamie's brother Rey and Malissa at their house and did some sight seeing. No clubs were entered and no alcohol was consumed. Nothing had to "stay in Vegas."

Jayden is 2 months old now and is 12 lbs and 23 3/4 inches long. He's such a good baby, he pretty much just cries when he's hungry or dirty. He melts my heart with his smiles and coos. When he's awake, he likes to watch Jeremiah play. It won't be too long until he's running, or crawling around with his Kuya.

Donut Fridays

Sugary confection plus sugary drink makes for a very happy boy. Jeremiah and his dad spend every Friday morning before work and school at a local donut shop. Jeremiah gets to have donut holes and Martinelli's apple juice, not watered down, like we usually do. It's the highlight of Jeremiah's week. He looks forward to it all week long. He even tries to get us to go on other days. But he realizes that he gets donuts only on Fridays. When we drive by the shop, he knows that's where he gets donuts. I think it's so SWEET, that they have something that they do, just the two of them.

Star of the Week

Jeremiah was picked for "Star of the Week" for listening well, using his words, not fighting, eating well, going down for a nap without having to be asked and telling his teachers when he has a dirty diaper. (Still working on potty training!) He makes us so proud!

La Jolla Cove

We took a drive to San Diego to take Jeremiah to see the seals. Most of them were in the water, because there were some people on the beach. But you can see some in the pics. They eventually went onto the beach and rested. Jeremiah liked seeing them, and kept telling them to "Wake up!" When we got home he kept showing us how they "walk" on the beach and was making the same sounds they did. Later, we went to eat some delicious Mexican food in Old Town. The last time we went there was in January 2008, when I was pregnant with Jeremiah, and I remember thinking I wanted to go back with my baby. We finally got to!

Here are some pics of JJ and Lexi when they were NOT fighting. Because most of the time, they were. Sharing was a big problem between the two. I loved watching them though, because it's what I miss most for JJ since he doesn't have his cousins around. Not the fighting per se, but just playing around with his cousins. So the title of this post was heard many times during the two weeks they were here visiting. But as you can see in the pics, they did have fun together as well.

The weeks preceding the show, Jeremiah's teachers had been saying how great of a dancer he was. Jamie and I were pretty excited to see him perform. On the day of, stage fright took over. JJ just stood there, sad faced and looking for me in the crowd. It was pretty cute though, because only 2 of his 10 classmates were doing the dance. I guess that's what you get from 2 year olds.
